This recipe was developed because my daughter is lactose intolerant. It is very simple and can be prepared over a campfire or kitchen stove. Enjoy!

Ingredients | Oreo Cupcake Drawing

16 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)

16 marshmallows

long wooden skewers

Directions

Twist open each cookie.

Thread marshmallows onto wooden skewers. Hold skewers over a gas stove flame until marshmallows are toasted. Sandwich marshmallows between cookie halves.

Would be great with different kinds of Oreo(R) cookies, like chocolate-filled or mint-flavored. I don't recommend using double-stuffed cookies; the marshmallow adds enough sweetness.
